Come arrivarci?

Come?

But if you want to know what you shouldn’t miss once in Camden, let’s follow our tips in order to avoid all the typical touristic traps!
- First of all, when you’ll arrive in the main street, Camden High Street, we suggest you to immediately identify with the mood of the area and not to be scared of all the weird things you’ll see. Here leather, studs and multicolour hairs are really common and you don’t want to miss all the weird but talented street artists just because of their unconventional aspect, isn’t it? It’s the best way to savour the creative soul of the English capital!
- Have a look around you and you’ll be fascinated by the eccentric buildings at the sides of the main street; at first sight, maybe they’ll look strange to you, or even trash, but after a while you’ll begin to appreciate them and you’ll understand that each building here is unique and different from the others.
- If you’re real shopping addicted, the “Stables Market” is the place to be: several underground rooms which once were the stables of the Queen’s horses. Here you’ll discover handicraft objects, vintage clothes, bags and jewels, LPs and much more; it is a real paradise if you’re looking for something eccentric and timeless.
- While if you prefer wandering through the colours, the smells and the tastes of ethnic food markets, don’t forget to have a look at the one you can find here in Camden, where you’ll savour the multicultural side of the city. From Chinese to Thai food, from Indian to Turkish, you’ll discover dishes coming from all over the world. Moreover, each stand and stall has a furniture that respects the culture and the style of the food it offers.
- Finally, we suggest to have a look at the view that you have from the evocative “Regent’s Canal”, a canal which cuts through the quarter and links it to West London. The most evocative part is the area called “Little Venice”, where during the summer you can do boat rides or wonderful walks along the banks. So, we have already given you different reasons to visit this area of the city, now it’s your turn to visit this unconventional and innovative quarter and to discover it little by little, penetrating into the less known areas and discovering the most original side of London.
