Qui troverete marchi prestigiosi come Bond no.9, Carthusia, Clive Christian, Nasomatto, Nez à Nez, Boadicea, Blood Concept.
If you think that to buy a perfume you need to go to a perfume shop, you’re absolutely wrong! In fact, if you’re real fashion addicted, you should be up-to-date also about perfumes. But if you haven’t understood what we’re talking about, we’re here for you: our today’s post deals with “perfume boutiques”, which are really different from the classical, old-fashioned perfume shops. So let’s follow our advices and discover with us the great Avery Fine Perfumery, one of the first perfume boutiques in Italy. It is situated in Modena, where Caterina lives, and since we discovered it, we cannot do without this place anymore. But let’s start from the beginning! This boutique is the fourth step of an international retail project started in 2010 with the opening of similar boutiques in Cannes, New York and London. The Avery Boutique was opened in Modena in 2011 under the creative management of Celso Fadelli, the president of Intertrade Europe (a company that deals with the opening of prestigious boutiques all over the world), and it is a real olfactory boutique. But what does it mean exactly? It isn’t a simple shop where you can choose what you like the most among several different products, it is much more than this. It is a complete experience, a place where you can experiment the different perfumes and deeply understand them. “We want that our clients, or better our visitors, wouldn’t be attracted only by the beauty and the originality of the packaging; we want them to live an intimate and authentic sensorial experience through our fragrances, in a cozy and welcoming space,” explains Fadelli. In fact, Avery is also a cultural place where they organize events and exhibitions linked to art, literature and fashion and, of course, to the launch of new fragrances. The boutique is composed of four rooms full of shelves with loads of coloured packaging and artistic perfumes, old-looking glasses, design armchairs … a refined atmosphere with a touch of retro style. These are the main elements that you will find in this olfactory gallery (220 square meters) situated at n. 27 in via Francesco Selmi, just a few minutes far from the great Duomo of Modena. The gallery was entirely furnished and decorated by the well-known designer Lilian Driessen, who already furnished the Avery concept store in London. And what will you find inside this great place? In the first room let yourself get carried away by a real symphony of fragrances: thanks to a system of photocells, the perfumes contained in the many phials are released when the clients pass through the room. While in the second room, let yourself be charmed by the coloured packaging of all the different artistic perfumes, in contrast with the optic white of the shelves. Here you will find well-known brands like Bond n.9, Carthusia, Clive Christian, Nasomatto, Nez à Nez, Boadicea, Blood Concept and many others. In the third room, you will discover all the beauty and make-up products by Annemarie Börlind and Jane Iredale, while in the fourth and last room, you cannot miss all the events linked to art, perfumes and make-up that they occasionally organize. So, if you want to try a real and complete sensorial experience, what are you waiting for? You cannot absolutely miss the magic atmosphere of this magical place.
