Come abbiamo fatto?
Here we are, back again after a break of few weeks, ready to start again the adventures of our blog together with you, our dear readers! After a trip abroad and many new ideas for Fashionable Europe, first of all we would like to share with you our last adventure in the great Copenhagen. We literally fell in love with the Danish capital, which is unique in its genre! So let’s start from the street art (one of our passions), as we discovered that the Danish capital is full of wonderful graffiti. That’s why we strongly suggest to keep your eyes open and your camera on hand. In fact, in this modern, creative, young city, every corner could be the perfect place where to find a street art masterpiece. And as we usually try to avoid the most touristic paths, we enjoyed wandering around the city to discover every kind of graffiti, from the well-known to the unknown ones. That’s how we discovered real works of art, especially in the Nørrebro district, a young and hipster quarter in the northern area of the Danish capital. In this area, surrounded by young skaters, art galleries, small and cosy clubs and creative people, you will discover a real open-air museum. We strongly suggest a stopover in the less known “Red Square”, a big square with red paving where young people practice skateboard or rollerblade. Then you cannot absolutely miss the unique and characteristic Christiania (of course you’ve already heard about it), a hippie quarter where all the houses have their own and unique graffiti! Finally, you will find more street art works in Vesterbro and Osterbro, two central but characteristic quarters, and if you still have time, you can try to explore also Copenhagen’s outskirts! So, now that we’ve given you just a few fundamental information, it’s your turn! If you’re real street art lovers, we also suggest to have a look at the Facebook page called Copenhagen street art, where all the graffiti are divided according to the areas of the city, with precise addresses and places. Otherwise, you can choose the street art tours that young local guides organize weekly. So enjoy your Copenhagen street art experience and if you discover something that we missed … let’s share it with us, with a comment under our post
