Painted walls and tables, weird chandeliers, unique chairs, coloured pillows and finally... teapots with coats! You feel like living in the world of “Alice in Wonderland” when going into the most original café in Dublin: Hippety’s, a charming café in the heart of Temple Bar, next to the Central Bank of Ireland. If you’re wandering around Temple Bar, you’ll notice it for sure! What has caught our attention at first sight? The bright light blue colour of the facade, with vintage hand-made decorations, so cheerful!

When we went in, the interior didn’t live up to our expectations: the atmosphere is weird, but also cozy and comfortable and food is really great. If you’re anywhere near Temple Bar and you want to have a snack during your city sightseeing, Hippety’s is the place to be: great sandwiches, pizzas and salads with special fresh ingredients, which are perfect with the handmade beers they have. Or if you want a break during the afternoon, this place is perfect for a cup of tea...and it’s the only place where teapots have wool coats, for the coldest winter days! And if you want to experience a psychedelic atmosphere, let’s have a tour in the toilets and don’t forget your camera, you won’t be disappointed! So if you want to discover this crazy, lovely place, have a look at their Facebook page or, why not, let’s take a break there if you’re in Dublin.
