Valencia is well-known all over Europe for its paella but don’t forget that the Spanish city also offers many other different delicious dishes. If you’re real finger-food lovers, you cannot miss this post and the place that we want to suggest: Tinto Fino Ultramarino. Aren’t you already in love with its name? And we really want to suggest this tapas paradise, where you can taste all the typical Spanish small dishes that you cannot absolutely miss. This tapas restaurant, with its typical “Spanish style”, is situated in the city centre, just behind the Cathedral, but a bit far from the noisy touristic streets (38, Calle Correjeria). The atmosphere is traditional and cosy at the same time and the restaurant, situated in one of the gothic alleys of the city centre and furnished in a perfect ‘70es style, has something special that immediately seduced us: it was really love at first sight! So let’s be infected by the relaxed mood of a warm Spanish night and enjoy the different suggestions of the menu; not to be missed: the traditional jamon iberico or the delicious, spicy patatas bravas. And of course, a glass of good wine that you can choose among a great selection of both foreign and Spanish wines. And if after your tapas you will be still hungry, you just need to ask Tinto Fino’s famous mixed berries cheese cake, simply delicious; we’re sure that you will fall in love with it! If you want to follow our tip, let’s try Tinto Fino Ultramarino on Wednesday evenings, when you’ll also find live music, while if you just want to “eat Spanish” surrounded by a friendly atmosphere, every other evening will be worth a visit. When in Valencia, we’ve followed the tip of a friend of us who had already been at Tinto Fino and we were really satisfied, so now it’s your time to follow our tip! Take your map and let’s quest for this small Valencian paradise.
